VOCs, or Volatile Organic Compounds, have a tremendous impact on human health. When the concentration of VOCs indoors reaches a certain level, people may experience headaches, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue in the short term. Severe cases can lead to convulsions, coma, and harm to the liver, kidneys, brain, and nervous system, resulting in serious consequences like memory loss. Household paints and coatings used in decoration are one of the primary sources of indoor VOCs. Therefore, countries worldwide have imposed restrictions on VOC content in paints and other decorative materials. In China, the VOC content in paints is limited to no more than 200 grams per liter.
